You can have depression and laugh.
You can have depression and be grateful.
You can have depression and be happy sometimes.
Depression isn't all about the stereotypical way of wearing black and crying all the time.
People can function, busy themselves, and complete tasks when they face trauma, grief, or anxiety, but others under function, slow down, and internalize.
Both are valid and respectable ways to cope.
There is no wrong or right way to cope with the struggles you have been through.
So embrace it.
Feel it.
But don't let it keep you down!
